Mark McMahon, McMahon | 10s Founder and President
Mark is originally from Melbourne, Australia. Mark played tennis professionally before embarking on a career as a club professional. Recognized and awarded by his tennis industry peers, Mark has been acclaimed as an astute and insightful Search Consultant and Coach. Mark brings the discipline and dedication of being a world-class competitor and over 30 years of private club tennis excellence to every engagement.
For every engagement, Mark draws on a lifetime of experiences with a wide-range of clubs, clients, competitions and organizations. His experience includes being Director of Tennis at two of America’s most distinguished private-club tennis programs clubs, Boca West Country Club (Boca Raton, FL) and Dunwoody Country Club (Atlanta, GA). Mark served for 9 years on the Board of Directors for USPTA and as president of the association’s Florida Division. He was a founding faculty member of CMAA’s original Sports Management Education Program and a speaker for BMI 1 on Tennis Operations at Georgia State University. Mark’s work also includes an extended consulting role for the United States Tennis Association.
Mike Barrell, Director Evolve9
Based in the UK and Orlando, FL, Mike has taught tennis for over 30 years working with players of all levels and is the Founder and CEO of evolve9. Mike has presented at numerous National and International conferences, including as keynote speaker at three ITF worldwide conferences.
He has authored magazine articles, coach and operations manuals and helped shape programs for USTA, Tennis Australia, LTA (GB), the Netherlands and Norway. Mike was the author of the ITF Tennis10s Manual and has a been a major contributor to junior programs around the World.
His club based work has seen him transform the programs of commercial tennis organisations like Midtown and Sportime, with huge growth in numbers and income alongside consulting and supporting over 50 clubs globally through the Evolution Tennis Network.
An LTA Level 5 Licensed Coach, he was also the 2007 PTR Professional of the Year.
